Amendment 26 to the Fishery Management Plan for the Coastal Migratory Pelagic Resources of the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Region

The proposed rule to implement these actions affecting king mackerel in the Gulf of Mexico (Gulf) and Atlantic region would modify the management boundary for Gulf and Atlantic migratory groups; update the annual catch limits (ACLs), optimum yield (OY), recreational annual catch target (ACT), and commercial quotas for the Atlantic migratory group; create an incidental catch allowance of Atlantic migratory group caught in the shark gillnet fishery;establish split season commercial quotas for the Atlantic Southern Zone; establish a trip limit system for the Atlantic Southern Zone; revise the ACLs for the Gulf migratory group;revise the commercial zone quotas for the Gulf migratory group; and increase the recreational bag limit for the Gulf migratory group.
