(a) Deepwater Complex: Yellowedge grouper, silk snapper, misty grouper, queen snapper, sand tilefish, black snapper, and blackfin snapper

(b) Grunts: White grunt, margate, sailor's choice, tomtate

(c) Jacks: Almaco jack, banded rudderfish, lesser amberjack

(d) Porgies: Jolthead, knobbed, saucereye, whitebone, scup

(e) Shallow water grouper: Red hind, rock hind, coney, graysby, yellowfin grouper, yellowmouth grouper

(f) Snappers: Gray, lane, mahogany

(g) Recreational harvest is prohibited during January-April of each year.

(h) On October 9, 2012, NOAA Fisheries published a final rule to increase the annual catch limit from 1,578 fish to 3,019 fish for the recreational sector.

(i) Recreational harvest is prohibited during January 1-June 30, and September 1-December 31 of each year. 

(j) Amendment 25 to the Snapper-Grouper Fishery increased the blueline tielfish bag limit to 3 fish per person per day within the aggregate, and the annual catch limit to 87,277 lbs ww. These changes became effective on July 13, 2016.

(k) Recreational harvest is prohibited from January 1 through April 30, and September 1 through December 31.

Note: The datasets used to monitor the recreational ACLs for some stocks were changed from MRFSS to the MRIP.  The dataset to monitor the other stocks will be changed to MRIP in future amendments.  

**MRIP or MRIP calibrated to MRFSS landings are available for waves 1 and 2, and Headboat landings are available for waves 1 through 3.
