Recreational Landings and Annual Catch Limits

NOAA Fisheries Service's Southeast Regional Office tracks recreational landings and annual catch limits in the southeastern United States. The following tables provide preliminary information on recreational fisheries in the Gulf of Mexico and South Atlantic.

** The annual catch limit for gag will be reduced and the annual catch limit for red grouper will be increased upon implementation of Amendment 32.

*** Current greater amberjack landings for Jul/Aug have not been stratified to remove landings from Monroe County, FL.

**** Red snapper fishery was open from June 1-July 18. Landings prior to June 1 are from Texas state waters.
