Southeast Region's Contract Aerial Survey Reports
 NOAA Fisheries Service Southeast Regional Office funds annual aerial surveys from South Carolina to Florida in an effort to determine calf production, right whale distribution relative to habitat variables, and reduce ship collisions with right whales. Surveys are flown under contract or grants to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, New England Aquarium, and the Wildlife Trust. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Coast Guard, and Navy also contribute funds to the Central Early Warning System surveys.
Final Reports are generated by our contractors or grantees following the conclusion of each aerial survey season. PDFs are available below:
